Splish Splash!!

It was the perfect day to be outside and get a little sun in. The kids had so much fun playing in the pool. They would run and dive into the pool then just laugh and then do it again and again. Tage even thought it was quite hilarious to chase me around
the yard with a cup full of water to dump on me. Then he would throw the water towards me and then drop the cup and run cause it was my turn to chase him, we did that for a while and once Tage even got lucky one time and drenched my pants. It was a load of fun. Savanna had lots of fun too. She would just chill in the pool cause it was so hot outside. We played all afternoon long and then Savanna dropped dead when we got home. It was a blast.

Tage the Brave One!!

Today was the great Danish Days in Elsinore and I thought it would be fun for the kids to get out and see the parade and go to the park and play games and eat and really just have fun!! It was fun and the kids had a blast. Tage got to play some kid games and won tons of candy (as a mom I am sooo happy, dentist here we come) and a 2 liter of pop. He popped a balloon with a dart and tossed a ring over the liter of pop. It was fun to see the two kids having so much fun. Nana even came with and had fun watching the kids and visiting with people she saw. So now the Picture, as you can see there was a dunk booth and at first Tage just wanted to throw balls at the target to put somebody in the water, which he did, well he hit the target just not very hard so he got to hit the target with his hand. Then the next thing he asks if he can get wet. I dared not say no cause it was a hot one today. And of course like the forgetful one I am I didnt take the camera so again this was taken with the cell phone. It took two grown men to finally dunk him! I did take a pic as soon as Tage fell in the water but all you can see is grass, I moved it down at the last minute and all you can see is water hitting the ground. He was awesome up there and got drenched too. It was a good day.

The Manti Temple

Bart and I finally had the opporunity to go out together and what better place to go than the Manti Temple. It is that time of year when the Mormon Miracle Pagent is going on and it was really good. We havent seen the pagent for years and we really enjoyed it. I was able to snap this picture right before the pagent started and I was really happy about it cause it was taken on the cell phone. The pagent was great and I couldnt help but feel the spirit. I am grateful for the sacrafices that the pioneers made so that we in this day have the gospel. I am grateful for our Prophet Joseph Smith. I do so love the gospel and for the wonderful people I have met and for their strong spirits. I don't want to go on and on I just wanted to share a little.

Back Home

Well we finally made our way back home to Richfield. We made it here the first day of June. We are so excited to be back and be around all of our family. Although I think the grandparents are more excited about the grandkids being closer than they are of Bart and I, but we are thankful that they are close so that they can be in Tage's and Savanna's lives. I believe the best part of Tage's day is when he gets to walk to Grandmas or Nanas just to visit then walk back home.

Bart is still in the same business, Verizon, and he is traveling a lot more now too so I am extra thankful that I have the family around to be with and go visit. I am staying at home still with the kids and being able to roam about where ever has been nice. We go visit the 'cousins' as Tage puts it and it has been fun. We are thankful to be here in Richfield and are thankful that the kids will have our families in their lives as they grow, I know that I missed being here close to family and am grateful that we are back again. I do miss mesquite and the friends that we made there but we are looking forward to the new chapter of our Book of Life that we have now started.
